Mr. Cochrane began his practice with McCormick Barstow in 2007. Prior to joining McCormick Barstow, he was a partner at the firm of Jones Cochrane Hollenback Nelson & Zumwalt, LLP where he practiced for 35 years. He is recognized as a Certified Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Cochrane is admitted to practice before all California State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of California.

Mr. Cochrane is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and is a member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists; State Bar of California (Member, Family Law Section) and the Stanislaus County Bar Association (President, 1984).  He is a former member of the Stanislaus County Criminal Defense Bar (President, 1979); California Trial Lawyers Association (Chairman, Speakers Bureau, Stanislaus County Chapter, 1982-1985); and California Society of CPA’s (Section on Family Law and Business Valuation).
