Experience

Ms. Cunningham joined the Litigation Practice Group at McCormick Barstow LLP in 2011. She has represented clients, both plaintiffs and defendants, in all phases of litigation up to and including the appellate process.  Her litigation experience includes cases in the areas of business disputes, contractual disputes, fraud, employment litigation, class action litigation, real estate disputes, shareholder rights disputes, unfair competition, trade secret litigation, business torts, inverse condemnation, wills/trust contests, and other probate litigation.  She also has experience in areas of healthcare law, including representing professionals in administrative matters with hospitals and business disputes within medical practices.


Ms. Cunningham is admitted to practice before all California State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of California.

Honors and Awards

Ms. Cunningham is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated with Martindale-Hubbell.  She was selected for inclusion in the Northern California Rising Stars list (2015, 2016) for her primary area of practice in Business Litigation. In 2011, Ms. Cunningham was named the ABOTA Trial Advocate of the Year at McGeorge School of Law.  She also received the ALI-ABA Scholarship & Leadership Award for her graduating class.

Practice

Concentrating in Civil Litigation with an emphasis in Commercial Litigation, Fraud, Unfair Competition, Employment Litigation, Probate Litigation, and Business Torts.

Professional Associations

Ms. Cunningham is a member of the State Bar of California, Fresno County Bar Association, the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL), and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada.  She is also a board member of the Fresno County Young Lawyers Association.

Community Involvement

Ms. Cunningham is an Adjunct Professor at San Joaquin College of Law where she teaches Civil Pre-Trial Litigation.  She has also been involved with Fresno Regional Foundation’s Next Generation Philanthropy program.  Ms. Cunningham has served as a coach for the Fresno State Mock Trial team.
