Partner Betty L. Julian was honored by the Stanislaus County Commission for Women as a 2024 award winner for her work in family law and non-profits. The Stanislaus County Commission for Women seeks to support all women in attaining their goals, and advocates for more women in positions of leadership, whether in the area of philanthropy, business, non-profit, sports, science and technology, education, public office or other areas.

Ms. Julian is a graduate of Turlock High School and Santa Clara University. After graduating from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, with great distinction, Ms. Julian joined and later became a shareholder at Damrell, Nelson, Schrimp, Pallios, Pacher & Silva in 2002. In 2009, Ms. Julian joined McCormick Barstow, has been an Equity Partner since 2012, and currently serves as Practice Group Co-Chair for the Modesto Office. Ms. Julian has concentrated her practice in the area of Family Law since 2009 and has been a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization since 2015. In addition to providing superior legal services to her clients, Ms. Julian is also active in non-profit work and takes great pride in giving back to her community.
