Mr. Nicholson has litigated all manner of business disputes, including water rights, shareholder disputes, dissolutions, real estate, contract disputes, land use, title, crop loss, wastewater, products liability, broker liability, collections, crop insurance and liability insurance.  In doing so, he has had the good fortune of representing farmers, irrigation districts, commodities traders, developers, public entities, manufacturers, water brokers, title companies and various ag-related businesses.

In addition to his work with clients, Mr. Nicholson serves in a number of leadership positions within the firm, including serving as the Chair of the Business Litigation group and as the firm’s Hiring Partner.

Prior to joining McCormick Barstow immediately upon graduation from law school in 2005, Mr. Nicholson served as an extern to the Honorable Kimberly J. Mueller, Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. Mr. Nicholson is admitted to practice law before all California State Courts and U.S. District Courts of California.
