Patrick Fredette
On the litigation side, Mr. Fredette represents clients in contractual and extra-contractual disputes in federal and state courts and alternative forums throughout the United States. The representation includes disputes arising under all forms of insurance policies (e.g., general liability, excess and umbrella, directors and officers, errors and omissions, life and disability and, among others, pollution), contractual indemnity agreements and other risk allocation agreements.
In his non-litigation practice, Mr. Fredette advises clients on the local, national and international level with regard to insurance coverage and contractual indemnity disputes relating to various claims, including data breaches, invasion of privacy claims, intellectual property disputes, construction claims, product defect claims, business torts, priority of coverage disputes, and constitutional, bodily injury, property damage and pollution liability claims.
Mr. Fredette’s mediation and appellate services encompass all forms of civil litigation.

Mr. Fredette is admitted to and is a member of the California, Idaho, Ohio, and Washington State Bars, and regularly appears in the state and federal courts within these respective states.
Mr. Fredette is also admitted to and has appeared in the United States Court of Appeal, Second, Fourth, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth and Tenth Circuits. Mr. Fredette has also appeared in the U.S. District Courts in the states of California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, Vermont, Washington State and West Virginia, as well as multiple state courts throughout the country.
Mr. Fredette has been a member of the American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Northern California and Nevada Association of Defense Counsel, and Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys.
