Mr. Pintar joined McCormick Barstow in 2019 and opened McCormick’s Reno office. He has extensive jury trial experience trying over 50 jury trials to verdict.
Mr. Pintar has tried cases throughout the State of Nevada as well as in both Reno and Las Vegas federal courts. On the appellate level, he has argued cases in front of both the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Pintar is admitted to practice in Nevada, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Pintar has focused his practice on representing Insureds in Complex Multiparty Civil Litigation, Personal Injury Defense and Insurance Litigation. In addition to his extensive litigation practice, he maintains an active practice in the insurance coverage and bad faith areas.
Mr. Pintar serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Defense Counsel (“ADC”) for Northern California and Nevada. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the Washoe County Bar Association, and Las Vegas Defense Lawyers. In 2015, he was appointed by the Nevada Bar Board of Governors to the Board of Personal Injury Specialization. Mr. Pintar recently termed out as a panel member and mediator with the Northern Nevada Disciplinary Board after serving on that Board for 8 years and is a Court-appointed Arbitrator. He is also a former member of the State of Nevada Standing Committee on Judicial Ethics and Election Practices.
