Mr. Carlson joined McCormick Barstow in April of 2008 and is a member of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation Practice Group as well as the Tort Litigation Practice Group. During his tenure, Mr. Carlson has handled countless depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement conferences.
He routinely drafts coverage opinions and handles Declatory Judgment actions for the firm’s insurance coverage clients. Additionally, Mr. Carlson is responsible for litigated matters at all stages from initial pleading up to and including trial. Mr. Carlson has tried several cases to verdict, reaching successful conclusions for the clients represented by McCormick Barstow.
Mr. Carlson also has experience handling appeals in both federal and state court in Nevada.

Mr. Carlson is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, State Bar of California and State Bar of Nebraska. He is licensed to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and all federal district courts in California and Nevada. Additionally, Mr. Carlson is a member of the Las Vegas Defense Lawyers Association, the Clark County Bar Association, and the Association of Defense Counsel for Northern California and Nevada.
