Ms. McGaha has twenty years of experience in insurance defense, both third party general liability and first party litigation.  At McCormick Barstow, her focus is Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation.  Her early work history includes seven years serving as in-house counsel for an insurance company wherein she gained practical experience related to a myriad of claims handling issues pertinent to coverage decisions and defenses to claims.  Ms. McGaha is experienced in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice in state and federal court.  She has conducted numerous Examinations Under Oath.   She is also experienced in preparing insurance company employees and 30(b)(6) witnesses for depositions and defending those depositions.  Her state and federal court litigation experience includes mediation, arbitration, and trial.
