Mr. Hansard has been with McCormick Barstow since 1977 and is a part of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Practice Group.
He is coverage counsel for numerous insurers for both litigation and non-litigation services and practices in all the state and federal trial and appellate courts in California and Nevada.
In addition to his extensive litigation practice in the coverage and bad faith areas, Mr. Hansard also maintains an active practice in the defense of agents and brokers and in the defense of insureds in large exposure and multiparty litigation. Mr. Hansard has extensive experience in prosecuting and defending appeals, including providing assistance as amicus curiae on issues that impact the insurance industry. He has tried numerous coverage, bad faith, and insurance defense litigation cases in a variety of forums.
Mr. Hansard is admitted to practice law in California and Nevada.
