Insurance Defense (1-7 years of experience)

McCormick Barstow’s Fresno Office is actively hiring associates with with 1-7 years of experience in Insurance Defense, Employment and/or School District Defense to assist with matters in the Specialty Litigation practice group.

Modesto

McCormick Barstow’s Modesto Office has an immediate need for attorneys with 1+ years of experience in Insurance Defense, Employment, School District Defense and/or Business Litigation.

San Luis Obispo

Civil Litigation and Probate Litigation (4+ years of experience)

McCormick Barstow’s San Luis Obispo Office is actively seeking a 4+ year skilled associate to join two seasoned partners in the firm’s complex civil litigation and probate litigation practice. This position offers considerable opportunity for growth in one of California’s most desirable communities. The ideal candidate will have good educational credentials and some experience in civil litigation such as appearing in court, preparing discovery and dispositive motions, and attending depositions. The candidate will also have some experience with a variety of trusts and estates litigation. Experience with conservatorships is a plus.

Las Vegas

Insurance Defense (1-5 years of experience)

McCormick Barstow’s Las Vegas Office has an immediate need for associates with 1-5 years of experience in Insurance Defense and Bad Faith Litigation to work in our Specialty Litigation practice group. The candidate will have some experience litigating, such as appearing in court, preparing discovery and dispositive motions, and attending depositions, though all interested candidates are encouraged to apply. While not necessarily required, the ideal candidate will have experience preparing coverage opinions dealing with liability and property coverages. Experience litigating coverage and bad faith matters, such as appearing in court, preparing discovery and dispositive motions, and attending depositions, is helpful, but not required.
